THE TRUE TUSCANY

We are in Val d’Orcia, one of the most beautiful valleys in Tuscany, Unesco World Heritage Site since 2004. The “Tre Case” farm, run by Del Ticco family for 50 years, is here at 600 metres above sea level, in one of the most refined areas of the province of Siena, at the foot of the mountain where Castiglioncello sul Trinoro, a little and nice hamlet, stands.

The buildings are composed of two holiday houses, distant 500 metres: the “Tre Case”, a characteristic 17th century stone building, and the “Vallocchie”, a typical Tuscan farmhouse. Both the buildings are provided with private swimming pools where you can enjoy the unequalled landscape of the Senese “crete” (clay) dominated by Mount Amiata.

The medieval village Sarteano and the Chiusi – Chianciano Terme motorway tollbooth are only a few kilometres far from here. You can reach and visit the following villages: San Casciano dei Bagni, Monticchiello, Pienza, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni. Siena, Perugia and Orvieto are only at an hour’s drive, while you can reach the heart of Rome or Florence in an hour and half.

If the green open spaces and the peacefulness of our places fascinate you, we advise you to visit Cetona, a typical medieval village, declared “one of the most beautiful villages in Italy”, where you can find our old cellar, now “Cantina La Frasca” wine shop: you’ll taste our farm products, wine, oil and “vinsanto”, together with numerous typical and traditional products of Tuscany.
